Frozen Semen Services

Stallion Owners

• 24 hour notice - Notification for semen shipments are required the day before the semen is to be shipped or picked up in-person.

• Please fax the breeding contract and call EquiGen with mare and Mare Owner's name and number of doses for frozen semen release.

• Orders shipped Monday-Friday (Sat. delivery not available to all locations).

• Frozen semen storage:  $20/month first 50 1/2cc straws, $15/month each additional 50 1/2cc straws. (includes detailed record keeping and EquiGen's friendly knowledgeable team for you and your client's reference).

• LN₂ Dry Shipper rental fee:  $75 (does not include shipping).

• Return LN₂ Dry shipper within 3 working days to avoid late fees.

• LN₂ Dry shippers are available for rental on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• LN₂ Dry Shipper rental fee:  $75 (does not include shipping).

• No deposit required for dry shipper rental.

• Valid credit card required for LN₂ dry shipper rental.

• In-house mares managed for breeding with frozen semen at EquiGen receive complementary frozen semen storage during the current breeding season.

• When ordering and shipping frozen semen from EquiGen it is highly recommended to place your order in advance of your mare's heat cycle to insure timely delivery. Temporary storage of frozen semen should be arranged through your veterinarian or at a clinic near you prior to breeding.
